Colin Billiet, Non-Executive Director
Colin Billiet is the former Chief Executive of domnick hunter group plc.
As Group Chief Executive from 1997 to 2006, he tripled sales and profits in this period.
He was a key member of the team that executed an MBO in 1990 and IPO in 1994.
He oversaw the successful sale of the business, which under his leadership, had reached annual sales of £200m, with excellent profits. 87% of all group sales were outside of the UK , many through group sales companies. Continuous organic growth (10% annually) was achieved with a stream of new product introductions representing 30% of annual sales.
Colin is currently CEO of Nano-Porous Solutions Limited and a non-executive director of Lontra Limited. He was also a director of the British Compressed Air Society (1986-2006) and a former President.
Colin joined the Board of Tanfield on May 18, 2007.
